New Barter Fair Blog
What better way to remember barter fair stories, share information of interest to the barter fair community, pass along news, and share pictures than a barter fair blog? I figured the barter fair site could use just that. :)
So here's my idea for this blog, and I may need your help. I'd like to gather a small group of barterfair family who are good writers, interested in the community, and full of useful information and stories. We can take turns posting on topics of interest to the blog, like sharing links, news articles, commenting on current events, reminiscing about a recent fair, sharing some information on the goods or services you barter, or generally talking about the barter fair lifestyle. Hopefully these will be longish, thought-out articles, not just random ramblings (save that for the forum, lol!). Over time we will build up a wealth of information and memories on the blog.
Anyone like this idea? Who's with me? Am I the only one addicted to blogging? So if you are interested, please e-mail me at megan@barterfaire.org and let me know why you're interested, what topics you'd like to talk about, how regularly you can post, and if you have one, a writing sample or link to an existing blog you write. Elders and barter fair veterans are especially encouraged to participate and share their knowledge and experience with the family. Let me know what y'all think, and check back often. :)
peace!

what is up people. free up some energy for the blog you can all communicate i know you can read and and probably even spell so first i would like to say that barterfairs can save the world and so it is our job to be super heroes barter fair super heroes..so this year i am introducing a line of patchwork super hero capes,NOT REALLY,OR MAYBE JUST SOME CUSTOM ONES FOR (TRADE).so if your afraid of the man watching what you blog have no fear.because they probably are watching you from sattilite already anyways..just kidding don`t freak out, because the global mind fraim is with us more and more every day.as they begin to realize that our natural way of sustainable trade networking for earthfriendly goods and ideas will be their only hope..and so be proud to be free and to be a barterfair super hero..the cape is only a blanket away..keep it real (TRADE)..
Thanks everyone for a very great experience at my first Barter Faire !! It was awesome !! I have heard about it for a few years from a friend who regularly attends and this year invited me !!
Well how impressive to see people from so many walks of life come together for one common goal. We even had the unique time to "fire Dance at the San Juan circle with the Mirimba band, and what hoot that was,it was like nirvan or something, I cant quite explain it
but the experience itself in memory will last for ever, and the sight of my partner accross the way is worth a million in my mind.Well done people, give yourselves a hand, you deserve,I dont know if I'll be back for next years event, I hope so,but if not, my spirit will be there.Thank you people for showing that there can be a peaceful way to gather, make friends and Barter !!!!
